During the annual meeting of Vietnam ICU in September 2022, the first Vietnam National Case Contest jointly organized by Jafron Vietnamese team and our business partners, was also in full swing, receiving 40 cases from 20 hospitals across the country. The judging panel, composed of four experts such as Prof. Nguyen Gia Binh (President of the Vietnamese ICU Association), and Prof. Nguyen Van Chi(Vice president of the Vietnamese Society of Emergency Medicine), Ph.D Vu Dinh Thang (Head of the ICU Department of 115 Hospital), and Ph.D Nguyen Huu Quan (Deputy Head of the Center for Emergency Medicine of Bach Mai Hospital), finally selected the 5 best cases as the winner.

The 5 winning cases covered the hemoperfusion technology and treatment indications developed by Jafron in the Vietnam market for 10 years, such as HA230 for acute poisoning, HA330 for acute pancreatitis, DPMAS for hepatitis, and so on. The 5 winning cases’ leaders were invited to report their cases at a satellite conference of the Vietnam ICU annual congress. A total of more than 130 medical experts from more than 50 hospitals in Vietnam attended the satellite conference.

The president of the Vietnam ICU Association said that the competition successfully demonstrated the hemoperfusion technology to ICU doctors in major hospitals in Vietnam. At the same time, he also expressed his gratitude to Jafron for organizing the case contest together with local agents, so that Vietnamese doctors have the opportunity to learn in such an attractive way and have a deeper understanding of the indications and applications of hemoperfusion.

At present, 25 cases had been selected to be part of the First Collection of Jafron ’s HP Clinical Case in Vietnam which will be published in November 2022. Stay tuned!
